Experience has been my best teacher. Being a sixth generation Smith County resident has given me a good understanding of our local and regional real estate market. I grew up in Smith Center, Kansas and then went on after high school to graduate from Kansas State University. After graduation, I started a career in Banking. I served as the Vice President of The First National Bank of Smith Center until its merger with The Guaranty State Bank. Today, I work full time as a real estate broker/owner of State Line Properties with offices in Smith Center and Phillipsburg, Ks. Aside from work, I enjoy spending time with my labradoodle dog Griffey, golfing, going to the lake, watching sporting events and staying involved with all the local Smith Center and Phillipsburg community events.

My husband, Kale and I have lived in Smith or Jewell county our entire lives and are very familiar with the area, as well as the surrounding counties. I grew up on a farm, love the outdoors and enjoy showing the various types of property this area has to offer. I grew up in Smith Center, Kansas, and graduated from Smith Center High School. After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Fort Hays State University, I worked at the CPA firms of Kennedy and Coe then Garen Kuhlmann.
In 1989, I began employment as an accountant, and salesperson with Simmons Furniture, and Simmons Mortuaries, with locations in Smith Center, and Kensington, Kansas. This ultimately led me to a management position, and into co-ownership of Simmons Company. I was instrumental in expanding the company into appliance sales and establishing a new store location in Osborne, Kansas.
From 2005-2015 I was employed as the CFO of Trailiner Corp, LLC in Springfield, MO. During our stay in Southwest Missouri, my wife Deb and I were very involved volunteers for Newborns In Need, a nonprofit children’s charity, where I managed their bookkeeping and helped with promotional events.
My wife and I were excited to return to Kansas to spend time with our daughter Lishe, her husband Garrett Kaiser, and our two precious grandchildren in Hoxie. I am currently the Assistant Manager of PSI Transport in Hoxie, Kansas. My wife and I are actively involved at Christ Community Church and I also serve on the worship team as the drummer. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my grandkids, golfing, and watching college basketball.

Hi, my name is Ashley Jones. I grew up on a farm near Glade, Ks and graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1982. In the summer of 1981, I attended & Graduated from The Missouri Auction School in Kansas City, Missouri.
